Job Description
The Customer Trainer will deliver da Vinci® System technology training and facilitate surgeon-led training for surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff from a variety of surgical specialties including urology, gynecology, general surgery thoracic and trans-oral surgery. The Customer Trainer will be actively involved in the continuous improvement of training programs and provide support for customer training, engineering and training research initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Deliver da Vinci® Surgical System training at designated and remote training centers.
* Lead and support specialized training programs and Society events.
* Conduct surveys to gather data and measure program effectiveness.
* Collaborate with various stakeholders to continuously improve the training programs.
* Train the sales team to conduct in-services and system technology skills development activities with customers on new and established products.
* Provide occasional support in hospital ORs and assist with system troubleshooting.
* Manage training center operations, including logistics, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
* Maintain strong relationships with external and internal training partners.
* Act as a Medical Device Consultant (Medizinprodukteberater) in Austria and Germany, after appropriate training, as per legal requirement and provide guidance, insight, and support in the proper handling of Intuitive medical devices.
* Stay current on training protocols and apply effective coaching methods.
* Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Qualifications
* Professional training experience preferred.
* Clinical and/or operating room experience preferred.
* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
* Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills.
* Familiarity with adult learning principles is a plus.
