KEY ACCOUNT DIRECTOR – CORPORATE & MICE, EUROPE

Reporting to VP – Sales & Reservations, this role will own and lead edyn's European corporate and MICE sales strategy, driving revenue, client retention, and market growth through strategic account management and high-impact partnerships across the corporate and MICE sectors..

This role is based on-site 5 days a week, either at our Berlin or Munich property.

THE WORK IN YOUR HANDS

1. Own and manage strategic relationships with key corporate and MICE clients across Europe to maximise commercial value and brand loyalty
2. Develop and execute a proactive corporate and MICE sales strategy, focused on driving revenue and optimising distribution
3. Shape and deliver growth plans for key regions in Europe, leveraging market insights and corporate demand data
4. Lead commercial negotiations, rate strategy, and joint initiatives with corporate partners to optimise visibility and conversion
5. Drive corporate performance, including preferred partnership programmes and strategic alliances with organisations across Europe
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with revenue, marketing, and operations teams to align commercial goals and tactical execution
7. Analyse performance across all corporate and MICE channels, using insights to refine strategy and report on ROI
8. Represent edyn at key industry events and conferences in Europe, building visibility and driving influence within the sector
9. Identify and develop new corporate partnerships, supporting growth and expansion into untapped markets and sectors across both countries

THE FIRE YOU CARRY

10. Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder and partner management skills
11. Strategic thinker with a high level of commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset
12. Confident negotiator with experience in rate and contract management
13. Highly analytical and comfortable using performance data to shape sales activity
14. Proficient in sales, CRM, and reporting platforms
15. Excellent knowledge of Europe business cultures and corporate procurement practices

YOUR PROVEN TRACK

16. Significant experience managing strategic corporate and MICE partnerships in hospitality across Europe
17. At least 5 years' experience in the hotel sector across both markets, looking after £5m plus of annual business
18. Proven track record of driving revenue and brand exposure through corporate networks and MICE sales channels
19. Deep understanding of corporate travel procurement, MICE booking processes, and distribution strategies in European markets
20. Experience managing regional and national accounts with a commercial lens
21. Minimum 7 years in senior sales or account management roles in fast-paced, commercially focused businesses
22. Strong knowledge of European business landscapes and regional corporate markets
