We are supporting an international financial services group active in the structuring, financing and management of investment vehicles. As part of the development of its Luxembourg operations, our client is looking to recruit an SPV Accountant to strengthen its finance team.
This role offers broad exposure to the accounting of investment and holding structures in an international environment.
Key responsabilities :
As part of the accounting team, your main responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining the day-to-day accounting of a portfolio of Luxembourg SPVs
* Participating in monthly, quarterly and annual closings
* Assisting in the preparation of annual statutory accounts under local GAAP
* Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and tax filings
* Monitoring bank transactions and performing bank reconciliations
* Handling intercompany transactions and reconciliations
* Processing supplier invoices and preparing payment runs
* Monitoring certain financing-related accounts
* Supporting ad hoc projects and general accounting matters
Profile :
* Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
* 2 to 3 years of experience in Luxembourg within industry, fiduciary, fund administration or SPV environments
* Knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP is considered a strong asset
* Experience with SPVs, funds, real estate or debt structures is an advantage
* Fluent in English; any other language is a plus
* Strong Excel skills and good general IT literacy
* Knowledge of an accounting software is an advantage
