Job Description
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be responsible for driving the company’s business development, sales and product marketing activities. The CCO will play a critical role in shaping the company’s short- and long-term commercial success and ensuring sustainable growth as a Tier 1 supplier in the new market of electric propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
* Develop new markets and establish business cases
* Identify and establish strategic partnerships
* Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to capitalize on new opportunities
Sales Leadership:
* Develop and execute offer and sales strategies tailored to different customer segments within the aviation or any other business-related industry
* Establish and foster customer relationships
* Establish & run a worldwide sales network
Product Marketing & Brand Strategy:
* Oversee marketing initiatives
* Develop go-to-market strategies for product and services
Leadership:
* Work closely with the executive leadership team to define and execute the company’s commercial and development strategy
* Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a high-performance & development culture
* Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences and networking events.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field.
* 15+ years of experience in business development, sales and marketing within the aviation and preferably automotive business.
* Experience in eVTOL and in start-up organizations is of advantage.
* Proven track record of driving commercial success in a leadership role.
* Strong industry network and experience withing large and mid-size organizations.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
* Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across departments.
