We value talented individuals and believe that you could be an excellent addition to our team.ResponsibilitiesOwning the architecture of a new high-end neurosurgery microscopeDriving the development by designing, implementing, and maintaining softwareProviding technical leadership and mentoring to the development teamCollaborating closely with other development teams and departmentsCoordinating technical aspects with external development partnersCreating technical and release documentation, as well as architecture diagramsSupporting cybersecurity activities, including evaluating analysis resultsConducting code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with standards and specificationsRequirementsA university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldProfund professional experience, with at least 4 years as a Software Architect in regulated environments (medical, automotive, military)Extensive experience in developing and owning software architecture for complex systemsStrong knowledge of C++ 14/17/20, with a proven track record of implementing complex softwareProficiency in Object-Oriented Development (OOD, OOP) and design patternsDeep understanding of software development methodologies, including agile practicesExcellent communication, problem-solving, and software engineering skillsExperience in mentoring and leading development teamsStrong verbal and written communication skills in English and GermanPlease be advised that a valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens.
