Your Role: Laboratory Assistant
As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for laboratory management and supporting ongoing projects within the R&D team. Your day-to-day work will be varied and interesting as you work with different methods.
This position reports to the Team Leader - Membranes and Diagnostic Applications and is part of the R&D department located in Dassel, Germany. Please note that this is an on-site role.
What You Will Do:
* Plan, implement, and evaluate project-supporting laboratory tasks.
* Develop the next generation of rapid diagnostic tests with our Cytiva Diagnostic Services team.
* Prepare chemical solutions and substances, ensuring proper disposal.
* Document your results and carry out evaluations.
* Handle general laboratory organization tasks and maintain laboratory and analysis equipment.
Who You Are:
* You have successfully completed training as a biological technical assistant (M/F/D), chemical technical assistant (BTA/CTA), or possess a comparable qualification.
* You bring a high level of motivation and commitment, along with an independent, analytical, and conscientious approach to your work.
* Experience in a quality-controlled working environment is a plus.
* You are a team player with strong communication skills.
* Fluent in German, both written and spoken; English language skills are an advantage.

* Ability to travel as needed (specifics to be discussed).
* Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
* Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to [##lb]; any other physical requirements will be outlined.
