Medical Science Liaison - Infectious DiseaseDNA Life Sciences is supporting a leading pharmaceutical company in hiring a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Infectious Diseases. This role serves as a key scientific ambassador, bridging the gap between healthcare professionals and the company. The MSL will engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), provide scientific expertise, and contribute to clinical decision-making in the field of infectious diseases and microbiology .Key Responsibilities :Scientific Expertise & Communication :Maintain up-to-date knowledge of microbiology and infectious diseases, staying informed on the latest scientific developments.Communicate complex scientific and clinical data effectively to healthcare professionals.Provide scientific training to internal teams, including Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Field Force .Develop a deep understanding of clinical environments, patient pathways, and treatment landscapes in hospitals.Stakeholder Engagement & KOL Development :Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs within the assigned territory.Conduct hospital visits and scientific discussions to support evidence-based decision-making .Represent the company at medical congresses, symposia, and advisory boards .Identify and train key speakers to disseminate new clinical data effectively.Support scientific initiatives across other therapeutic areas within the company’s portfolio, such as pain management and psychiatry .Internal Collaboration & Strategic Insights :Provide medical insights and field intelligence to support strategic decision-making.Collaborate with internal teams to develop scientific content, training materials, and promotional initiatives .Identify trends in clinical practice, highlighting opportunities and challenges in the therapeutic area.Clinical & Research Support :Monitor and support investigator-initiated studies, ensuring alignment with medical strategy.Candidate Profile :Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) in Life Sciences, with a background in antimicrobial chemotherapy .Minimum 5 years of experience in an MSL or similar Medical Affairs role.Strong ability to interpret and communicate scientific data to a broad audience.Proven experience in building credible relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals .Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills .Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a field-based role .Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Fluent in German ; proficiency in English or French is essential.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other digital tools.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
