Manager (f|m|d) Security Operations Center (SOC

As Head of the Cyber Defense Center (CDC), you will take overall responsibility for global cyber defense at Voith. You will lead an international team of experts and manage external partners to ensure effective 24/7 operations. Your goal is to detect cyber threats early, manage security incidents efficiently, and continuously develop the technologies and processes in use.
Your Responsibilities
* Strategic and operational leadership of the global Cyber Defense Center (CDC)
* Leading an international team of experts and managing external partners for 24/7 operations
* Further development of our incident response framework according to international standards and best practices
* End-to-end management of security incidents including technical analysis and coordination
* Proactive risk identification through threat hunting and threat intelligence
* Operation and optimization of CDC technologies (e.g., SIEM, XDR, SOAR) in IT/OT environments
* Responsibility for vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security validation
* Close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
Your Profile
* Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a comparable qualification
* At least 10 years of professional experience in IT/Cybersecurity, including 5 years in a SOC/CDC environment
* In-depth knowledge of incident response, technical analysis, and threat hunting
* Experience with CDC/SOC technologies and their integration into complex IT/OT landscapes
* Practical experience in designing efficient security processes and introducing new technologies
* Familiarity with international standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK)
* Strong communication and leadership skills in an international environment
* Excellent German and English skills, willingness to travel occasionally, and readiness to spend approximately 60% of working time on-site in Heidenheim
