We are seeking a talented, motivated, and passionate environmental sustainability professional to join our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) team. The primary function of this role is to conduct and manage projects related to environmental Life Cycle Assessment modelling and reporting across various industries.
You will help our clients develop more sustainable products and operate more sustainably by:
1. Assisting with product and corporate sustainability measurement and reporting, including Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) using our GaBi software.
2. Preparing LCA-based results and supporting other sustainability projects.
3. Engaging in direct project management with clients.
Your daily activities may include:
* Managing multiple consulting projects on LCA, feasibility studies, Total Cost of Ownership evaluations, and sustainability strategies.
* Creating LCA models in GaBi software.
* Writing ISO 14040/44 conformant reports.
* Manipulating data using Excel or other formats.
* Analyzing energy, water, waste, emissions, and costs.
* Presenting project results in formats like PowerPoint.
* Ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
* Collaborating with team members across regions and specialties, including topics like energy transition, alternative fuels, hydrogen, and green chemistry.
* Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Your profile
* Undergraduate or Master’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.
* 5-8 years of consulting experience, ideally with LCA.
* Knowledge and passion for sustainability, environmental systems, life cycle thinking, and climate change.
* Experience managing small to medium-sized teams.
* Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a curiosity for research and problem-solving.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple assignments independently and in teams.
* Proficiency with MS Office applications.
* Desire to support companies in achieving environmental sustainability.
