We are recruiting for an experienced MEP Design Manager on behalf of a leading international design and build contractor delivering mission-critical projects across Mainland Europe. This is an excellent MEP Design Manager job for someone ready to own MEP design coordination between client, consultants, sub-contractors, and the project team from concept through to handover.
The Role You'll manage MEP design deliverables in line with construction and client requirements, lead design meetings, drive coordination with the BIM team, and ensure quality assurance across the full MEP package. You'll be the single point of accountability for MEP design from stakeholder coordination through to as-built.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage MEP design deliverables against construction and client requirements
* Coordinate MEP design between client, specialist designers, sub-contractors and project team
* Drive milestone deliverables, QA and the implementation of design changes
* Chair design meetings with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors
* Review and control construction drawings, shop drawings and technical submittals
* Support BIM coordination and manage the as-built design package
* Conduct site quality checks and produce weekly/monthly design status reports
What You'll Bring
* Proven MEP design management experience on large-scale projects
* Strong background in data centre, pharma, logistics or advanced manufacturing builds
* Comfortable interfacing with clients, consultants, and specialist subcontractors
* Familiarity with BIM coordination processes (Revit / Navisworks)
* German language a plus — role operates in English / German
