Quality Engineer - Foundations (Offshore Wind)
Responsibilities:
1. Reviewing and assessing quality documentation from the supply chain
2. Ensuring the Employer’s requirements are implemented by the contractor
3. Planning, coordination, and execution of Quality Control (QC) activities
4. Liaise with the different contractors
5. Managing of Quality Inspectors
6. Oversee and manage the quality of work delivered by the supply chain under package contracts
7. Leads the day-to-day QC activities
8. Evaluation of reports, inspection results and findings
9. Capture all work progress, inspections, and non-conformities (NC) in RWEs Quality inspection app
10. Logging and resolution of open points
11. Initiation and management NC reports and corrective and preventive actions
12. Maintenance of an auditable trail of quality activities and associated records
13. Recommendations where appropriate of the resolution of an NC with a concession and management of acceptance/rejection
14. Supporting in finding solutions for quality issues
15. Supporting in any claims process
16. Collate the as-built, installation and supporting Quality records necessary for Commercial Operations
Profile:
17. Degree qualified Engineer or time served apprentice in a Mechanical/ Energy Engineering/ with a Fabrication background.
18. Experience in steel manufacturing, welding and coating
19. Qualification as international welding engineer and/or coating inspector
20. ISO 9001-2015 Lead Auditors Course
21. Full driving license
22. Required HSE training: GWO Working at Heights, Fire Awareness, First AidQuality Engineer - Foundations (Offshore Wind)
