Excellent opportunity for an experienced Associate Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the growth of an expanding MEP design team within an international engineering and design consultancy delivering complex mission critical and data centre projects across Europe.

Salary: € 90,000 - €110,000
Job Description:
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an international engineering and design consultancy to support the growth of their Frankfurt-based MEP team. This position will focus on the technical design and coordination of mechanical building services systems across large-scale data centre and mission critical developments.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
* Lead the mechanical design delivery of data centre and mission critical projects across multiple project stages
* Develop and review mechanical building services designs including HVAC, cooling, ventilation, and associated systems
* Coordinate mechanical design activities with electrical, architectural, structural, and specialist engineering disciplines
* Prepare and review technical specifications, calculations, reports, and design documentation
* Ensure all mechanical designs comply with German regulations, international standards, and client requirements
* Support design management activities including programme coordination, technical reviews, and design workshops
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers within the design team
* Attend and lead technical meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
* Review existing installations, surveys, and technical assessments to support refurbishment and upgrade projects
* Support value engineering, sustainability initiatives, and energy-efficient design strategies across projects
* Assist with construction-stage technical support, commissioning activities, and design issue resolution
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Several years of experience delivering mechanical building services design for data centre, mission critical, or large-scale commercial projects
* Strong understanding of HVAC and cooling systems within complex technical environments
* Previous experience working within Germany and knowledge of local codes, standards, and regulations
* Experience leading multidisciplinary design coordination activities
* Strong knowledge of mechanical design software and engineering calculation tools
* Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Word
* Ability to manage multiple design packages and work to project deadlines
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent English language skills required; German language skills (minimum B2 level) desirable
