Your prospective job:
You are acting as a System Engineer for maintenance design on civil and military helicopters (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth.
Your responsibilities:
6. Supplier management: Monitoring the testability design (built-in test) of avionics devices and systems by external suppliers
7. Software logic: Development of error monitoring logic for central recording in the core avionics software
8. Causal modeling: Creation of fault cause models to link observable fault effects with their origins
9. Diagnostic strategy: Definition of filter rules for false alarms (“fake failures”) and diagnostic rules at the system level
10. Troubleshooting: Creation of dynamic troubleshooting procedures for all relevant aircraft faults
11. Certification: Preparation of the necessary documentation for the certification process
12. Preparation of technical deliverables (specifications, validations, and documentation)
13. Scheduling and monitoring of milestones and delivery dates
14. Validation of the scope of development for the respective activities
15. Preparation of annual cost estimates for the implementation of activities
16. Contract drafting for outsourced services
17. Payment release after successful validation of results
18. Definition of work packages for subcontractors
19. Ongoing support and follow-up of external activities
20. Acceptance and validation of the delivered results
Your profile:
21. Completed studies in System Engineering or comparable
22. Work experience in the field of Design Engineering, Engineering, Product Development, Contract Management and at least 5 years of experience in project management for development projects within an aviation program
23. Function development for helicopters (especially system diagnostics/troubleshooting) of great advantage
24. Development of functions for avionics systems highly advantageous
25. Testability of embedded systems is a major advantage
26. Safety analyses (e.g., FMEA) and knowledge of the certification process is desirable
27. Tracking and controlling outsourced activities (subcontracting) and Budget management skills are major advantage
28. Fluent English and basic German skills, both spoken and wirtten
29. French skills would be a plus
