It's bad manners to talk about money. Unless you're in Finance & Accounting or Controlling & Analysis—the two large teams comprising Finance at BCG. Not only do these professionals talk about money all the time, they also really have to know what they're talking about, since they're responsible for accounting, taxes, payroll, travel management, and time and billing at BCG. In addition to purely financial workflows, they also ensure that our consultants have the best possible basis for making decisions in our various markets.
As a Working Student, you'll support the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and will collaborate on the weekly and monthly reports. In addition, you will create database analyses for various recipient groups (consultants, department heads of various specialist departments, etc.) and conduct research for various controlling projects using big data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau), although prior knowledge of the tools is not required. You'll also perform various other administrative tasks.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
As a Working Student, you'll be part of the G&A Finance Team, which totals more than 50 members. Locally, you'll work with eight experienced colleagues.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS)
1. You are currently enrolled full-time in an economics, social sciences, or humanities program at a university.
2. Ideally, you already have some experience in the field of finance, but this is not mandatory.
3. You have initial experience with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
4. Excellent German and good written and spoken English language skills complete your profile.
