To join our Life Sciences team in Frankfurt, we are looking for a EHS Manager (Environment, Health and Safety).
Your responsibilities :
* Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in accordance with German and EU legislation.
* Lead risk assessments and enforce control measures to ensure workplace safety and environmental compliance.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives in safety culture, environmental performance, and incident prevention.
* Conduct internal audits and inspections, manage corrective actions, and liaise with external auditors and regulators.
* Provide training and guidance to all levels of staff on HSE practices, emergency response, and regulatory changes.
* Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting.
* Coordinate hazardous waste management and sustainability initiatives.
* Support cross-functional teams in projects involving facilities, engineering changes, and new product introductions from an HSE perspective.
Your profile :
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, or life sciences manufacturing environment.
* In-depth knowledge of German and EU HSE regulations and standards.
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Fluent in French and English (written and verbal).
