What you’ll do:
* Develop, implement, and manage the IT Grundschutz based information management system in line with BSI standards.
* Establish and support strategies and initiatives to comply with Grundschutz standards and address emerging threats.
* Support internal audits and compliance assessments, preparing reports and documentation for internal & external audits.
* Provide expert guidance and mentorship to various teams & stakeholders, promoting knowledge-sharing and skills growth.
* Conduct and orchestrate comprehensive risk assessments and develop response strategies to protect cloud-based systems.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless implementation of security standards.
* Establish and manage compliance policies and procedures to maintain high standards and regulatory compliance.
* Oversee compliance security incidents and coordinate effective response strategies.
* Support and drive the continuous improvement process
What you bring:
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
* Deep understanding of IT processes, and their contractual, regulatory, and legal significance, such as EUDP, GDPR and SOX.
* Extensive experience with standards such as SOC 1 & 2, ISO 27001, BSI C5, PCI DSS, NIST SP 800 and BSI IT-Grundschutz.
* Minimum of 10 years experience in IT security & compliance environments.
* Proven track record in managing IT security systems within cloud environments.
* Excellent leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant certifications such as BSI IT-Grundschutz, CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
