As Head of Account Management, you manage a team of Account Managers who are responsible for growing Lightspeed’s German and Swiss customer base, understanding different customer needs, effectively communicating our value proposition, and building out a fully scoped solution for them to be successful.

***Please note that this role is based in Berlin, Germany***

What you’ll be responsible for:

1. Hire and develop a team of target-hitting, high performing Account Managers
2. Manage the overall pipeline of new and existing customers joining the platform.
3. Collaborate with other leaders to ensure the Sales and Handover process from deal to partnership is as smooth and effective as possible.
4. Build dashboards, track performance, and use data to proactively identify risks and opportunities across accounts
5. Establish yourself as a trustworthy partner to the most important customers within your market
6. Own forecasting of renewals, expansions, and churn risk, providing insights to leadership on performance and pipeline health and process optimization
7. Ensure the team exceeds its monthly MRR and KPI targets.
8. Develop each team member to increase platform and product adoption across the platform
9. Ensure clear communications between all departments impacting your team
10. Continue to grow the customer base through up- and cross selling opportunities by looking at market opportunities and developing the team to effectively provide solutions
11. Act as the customer advocate internally by gathering feedback and partnering with customers and internal stakeholders

And a little bit of....

12. Analyzing sales forecasts, call volume and pipelines for overall team and individuals.
13. Developing and hiring team members for current and future opportunities.
14. Listening to calls and demonstrations to provide feedback to the team.
15. Creating new strategies to help grow revenue streams for the Account Management team
16. Managing high level deals with large organizations as well as well-known brands.

What you will bring to the team:

17. Experience in a relevant Account Management team leadership role with a bias towards coaching and development to get the best out of people
18. Demonstrated ability to lead a group towards common goals and enable them to deliver results
19. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
20. Data driven approach to problem solving
21. Relevant work experience in an industry like retail or hospitality, IT solutions, software sales, e-commerce, cloud applications, SaaS, POS, or technology is a strong plus

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

22. Prior experience in hiring and scaling commercial teams
23. Prior experience as an Account Manager with a track record of success
24. Prior experience working in/with restaurants is a plus!
