Aufgaben
The Central Compliance department reports directly to the Global Head of Compliance and has exposure to the supervisory board, the Risk Committee and works closely with the local Compliance departments of our Group. As a Data Analyst you play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive informed Compliance decisions. You’ll collaborate with cross functional teams including IT and business experts to analyze data trends and create reports that empower Compliance to optimize performance and allow Management to take informed decisions. You will also play a key role in the ongoing data transformation by being an ambassador of business acculturation.
Exciting tasks await you:
1. Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs and external platforms, perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends and anomalies
2. Reporting and Visualization: Create clear and concise reports, dashboards and visualizations, collaborate with Compliance Management to define KPIs and track performance metrics
3. Compliance Insights: Translate complex data into meaningful compliance insights, conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific compliance questions
4. Data Governance and Management: Implement best practices for data documentation and data quality, monitor data integrity and resolve discrepancies
5. Data Culture: Be an ambassador of the data culture development, actively identify new opportunities for Compliance and 1st level controls teams to leverage BI tools

6. Successfully completed Master's degree in Business or Engineering
7. 2 years of relevant working experience in data and/ or finance, including previous internships
8. Good understanding of the banking & finance sector
9. Proficiency in SQL and Power BI (knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis is a plus)
10. Proactive, curious, flexible team player with an international outlook
11. Good communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders
12. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
13. Professional working proficiency in English and German or English and French
