Responsibilities
* Provide strategic, tactical and operational guidance to our supply chain management team and support stakeholders worldwide
* Ensure the scale-up and further development of our suppliers to support our growth strategy
* Develop the global supply chain strategy for our manufacturing network with plants in Switzerland, Romania and the USA, as well as outsourced production worldwide
* Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality and Regulatory to select suppliers, define supplier development initiatives, and implement medical device requirements throughout the supply chain
* As a member of the management team you report directly to the COO
Qualifications
* Degree in engineering or natural sciences combined with more than 10 years of professional experience in supply chain management
* Leadership and personnel management skills with a mindset of supporting, coaching and developing people
* Profound knowledge and experience with ERP systems as well as QM-Standards like ISO or IATF16949, ideally 21CFR 820, MDR, and MDSAP
* Strong technical understanding of electronics and mechatronics
* Excellent communication skills in English and German
