The Department of Fluid Dynamics Resource Technology Processes is looking for a PhD Student (f/m/d) for bubble dynamics in water electrolysis. The position is subject to project approval.
Your tasks
1. Carrying out experiments on gas bubble generation on micro electrodes
2. Visualize and analyze bubble dynamics using advanced optical measurement techniques
3. Measure the flow velocity and temperature distribution of the electrolyte
4. Supervision of student internships and research projects
Your profile
5. Completed university studies (Master/Diploma) in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related fields
6. Very good knowledge of Electrochemistry and Optical Measurements
7. Ability to cooperate across disciplines in an international environment
8. Independent, structured and target oriented way of working
9. Team work ability in an international group
10. Software skills in Python and Matlab
11. Excellent English skills
12. Basic German skills
