For a highly regarded hospital in the Greater Leipzig area, we are immediately seeking a Senior Consultant (m/w/d). This position offers a direct employment contract between you and our client. Your Profile:
* You hold a valid German medical license (Approbation).
* You are a specialist in Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy and eager to contribute actively to our team.
* Alternatively, you may be a specialist in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy or a specialist in Internal Medicine/General Medicine with additional qualification in Psychotherapy, currently progressing in advanced training in psychosomatic medicine.
* You demonstrate strong professional expertise and prioritize delivering excellent medical care.
* You possess a high level of commitment paired with a determined willingness to perform and shape processes.
* You aim to work independently and responsibly.
* You are a socially competent individual with an authentic and reliable manner, capable of leading and motivating staff effectively.
Your Responsibilities:
* Establishing and developing a newly founded department for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, comprising 22 inpatient beds and an outpatient clinic.
* Leading and supervising a multidisciplinary treatment team.
* Providing comprehensive care to patients with psychosomatic conditions.
* Participating in the medical on-call service.
* Managing economic responsibilities and overseeing medical quality management.
