My clients, a leading name in the food and beverage industry, are currently seeking a Network Optimisation Manager to join their logistics team and drive strategic improvements across their supply chain network.
This is a critical role focused on engineering-led optimisation initiatives, with a strong emphasis on improving warehouse and transportation efficiency through data-driven decision-making and simulation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
~ Lead and manage network optimisation projects across logistics and warehousing operations
~ Drive engineering initiatives focused on improving productivity and cost-efficiency
~ Utilise simulation tools to model, test, and implement optimisation strategies
~ Analyse operational data to identify network inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements
~ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategy with broader business objectives
~ Develop and deliver reports to senior leadership, supporting key supply chain decisions
~ Work closely with the Logistics Director to oversee transportation optimisation and performance metrics
Candidate Profile:
~ Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics engineering, supply chain optimisation, or related fields
~ Strong engineering background; a degree in industrial, logistics, or systems engineering preferred
~ Proven expertise in warehouse and transportation network optimisation
~ Hands-on experience with simulation and modelling tools for supply chain analysis
~ Strong business acumen - a business school background would be an asset
~ Comfortable working with operational data to "make the numbers" and drive measurable results
~ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
