Financial Strategist Role
This is a senior financial leadership position that requires expertise in accounting standards, credit decision-making, and portfolio management. The successful candidate will play a central role in guiding the financial health and strategic direction of our companies.
Responsibilities
* Financial Strategy: Develop and implement the overall financial strategy for both companies, including managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.
* Core Finance Functions: Lead accounting, controlling, and financial reporting activities to ensure compliance and drive financial performance.
* Liquidity & Stability: Oversee cash flow, liquidity management, and capital allocation to maintain stability and support business growth.
* Credit Decisions: Take ownership of credit decision-making and portfolio risk management to minimize risks and maximize returns.
* Risk & Controls: Establish and maintain strong risk management and internal control systems to protect our assets and reputation.
* Stakeholder Management: Negotiate with banks, investors, and external partners to secure funding and partnerships.
* Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams to align financial and business objectives and drive success.
Requirements
* degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* several years of senior financial leadership experience in a leasing company, including a valid BaFin license.
* proven expertise in accounting standards (HGB, IFRS).
* strong analytical skills and exceptional financial acumen.
* solid experience in credit decision-making and portfolio management.
* proficiency in building financial models and forecasts.
* excellent command of German and English (spoken and written).
* strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams.
