We are now looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team in Hamburg, supporting both the Life Saving Medicines Unit and the European Region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to business-critical initiatives while collaborating with colleagues across borders, including teams in Spain and Italy. You will report directly to the Senior Director Finance Business Partnering, Region Europe, and work closely with commercial, finance, and global stakeholders. Your responsibilities In this dual-facing role, you will: Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner for the Life Saving Medicines Unit, supporting key stakeholders in reaching financial and strategic objectives Lead and support planning cycles including Budgeting, Forecasting, and Strategic Planning Conduct financial analysis and reporting, providing insightful commentary and performance reviews Ensure adherence to budget controls across global and departmental levels Influence strategic decision-making by delivering data-driven insights and actionable recommendations Collaborate closely with local and regional stakeholders, understanding business needs and ensuring high-quality service delivery Support the Senior Director FBP Europe in regional finance initiatives, including consolidated reporting, performance tracking, and special projects Initiate and execute ad-hoc analyses on both consolidated and country-specific levels Prepare business and investment cases in cooperation with Commercial teams Contribute to cross-functional projects to optimize financial processes and decision-making Your profile We are looking for a proactive and analytical finance professional who brings: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in Finance, ideally in a role such as Business Controller or Finance Business Partner within an international company Strong skills in Excel, Think-Cell, and Business Intelligence tools Fluency in English Excellent communication and presentation abilities A self-driven, structured, and goal-oriented mindset Demonstrated customer orientation and a collaborative approach Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data Why join ALK?
