Als Internal Auditor (m/w/d) übernehmen Sie die Durchführung von finanziellen und operativen Audits innerhalb unserer europäischen Standorte und leisten damit einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Compliance sowie zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer Geschäftsprozesse. Sie analysieren Risiken, identifizieren Optimierungspotenziale und formulieren konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen für das Management. Dabei arbeiten Sie eng mit unterschiedlichen Fachbereichen zusammen und unterstützen die Weiterentwicklung unseres internen Kontrollsystems.

As an Internal Auditor (m/f/d), you will perform financial and operational audits across our European locations and make a key contribution to compliance and continuous improvement. You will evaluate risks, identify optimization opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to management. Working closely with various departments, you will support the enhancement of our internal control environment.
Job Description
DEUTSCH:
1. Eigenverantwortliche Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation von Auditprojekten über den gesamten Engagement Cycle hinweg
2. Überprüfung und Weiterentwicklung des internen Kontrollsystems (inkl. SOX-Compliance), um Risiken frühzeitig zu erkennen und Transparenz zu schaffen
3. Analyse von Prozessänderungen sowie Bewertung von Geschäftsrisiken – Sie zeigen Verbesserungsbedarfe aktiv auf und entwickeln praxisnahe Lösungen
4. Anwendung moderner Data-Analytics-Methoden zur Identifikation von Auffälligkeiten, Prozessineffizienzen und Automatisierungspotenzialen
5. Präsentation von Audit-Ergebnissen an das Senior Management sowie Begleitung von Maßnahmenumsetzungen
6. Aktive Impulsgebung für kontinuierliche Verbesserungen im Sinne eines Trusted Advisors für die Fachbereiche
ENGLISH:
7. Independently plan, execute and document audit engagements throughout the full audit cycle
8. Review and enhance internal controls (including SOX compliance) to proactively identify risks and ensure transparency
9. Evaluate business process changes and new risk exposures, providing practical solutions for improvement
10. Apply data analytics techniques to detect anomalies, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities
11. Present audit findings to senior management and support follow-up actions
12. Act as a trusted advisor to drive continuous improvement across the organization
13. All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
DEUTSCH:
14. Abgeschlossenes Studium in Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Accounting, Finance oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich
15. Erste relevante Berufserfahrung im internen/externen Audit, idealerweise in der Wirtschaftsprüfung
16. Hohe Analysefähigkeit kombiniert mit Kommunikationsstärke und einer proaktiven, lösungsorientierten Arbeitsweise
17. Hohe Reisebereitschaft innerhalb Europas
18. Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
19. CIA-Zertifizierung von Vorteil
ENGLISH:
20. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
21. Initial experience in internal/external auditing, preferably within public accounting
22. Strong analytical skills paired with proactive communication and solution-oriented thinking
23. Willingness to travel frequently within Europe
24. Excellent command of English; German language skills are a plus
25. CIA certification is an advantage
