Role Description

MongoDB's CEEUR Regional Marketing team is looking for a Sr. Strategic Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for architecting and executing sophisticated 1:1 and 1:few Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth by balancing an executive approach with a high-impact developer enablement strategy. Your goal is to not only win the hearts of C-level decision-makers but also to empower and upskill the developer communities within our most strategic accounts, ensuring MongoDB becomes their platform of choice.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Frankfurt for our hybrid working model.

What You Will Do:

1. Architect Multi-Channel ABM: Develop and execute bespoke 1:1 strategic marketing plans that integrate high-touch executive programs with precise digital execution
2. Drive Developer Enablement: Actively lead initiatives to upskill the developer community within your assigned accounts. This includes organizing technical workshops, "Dev Days," and hands-on enablement sessions that remove friction and drive MongoDB adoption from the ground up
3. Elevate Executive Programs: Design and lead high-impact programs specifically for C-level personas. Build long-term trust through peer-to-peer networking and strategic modernization discussions
4. Bridge the Gap Between Persona Needs: Seamlessly translate high-level business
value for executives while facilitating deep-dive technical content for developers, ensuring a holistic "One MongoDB" experience across the entire organization
5. Digital Excellence: Leverage intent signals to deploy targeted digital campaigns that nurture technical champions and influence the broader buying committee
6. Strategic Sales Consultation: Partner with Account Executives and Solutions Architects to identify technical blockers and deploy the right enablement resources to overcome them
7. Orchestrate the "One Team" Approach: Lead the cross-functional coordination between Partner Marketing (AWS, GCP, Azure), Developer Advocacy, and Customer Success to ensure a unified MongoDB voice across every touchpoint

We’re looking for someone with:

8. 10+ years of experience in Strategic Field Marketing or ABM, specifically within the Enterprise Tech/SaaS space
9. Vertical Expertise: Proven success in navigating large, complex accounts in Financial Services (FSI) and Telecommunications
10. ABM Mastery: Deep experience with 1:1 and 1:few frameworks. You should have a portfolio demonstrating how you’ve moved the needle in specific strategic accounts
11. Digital & Executive Savvy: A strong background in running digital-first campaigns alongside executive-level engagement programs
12. Partner Ecosystem Experience: Familiarity with co-marketing alongside Cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the AI/ISV ecosystem
13. Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using intent data and attribution tools (6sense, Salesforce, Tableau) to measure ROI and pivot strategies based on account engagement.
14. Language: Native or professional fluency in German and English is mandatory

Success Measures:

15. In 3 Months: You will have established deep trust with your Strategic Account teams, completed a baseline audit of your account territory, and identified "low-hanging fruit" for immediate ABM activation
16. In 6 Months: You will have launched at least one integrated multichannel campaign for a Tier-1 account and established a regular cadence for reporting pipeline influence to leadership
17. In 12 Months: You will be the "CEO of your territory," having successfully influenced multi-million dollar deals through creative executive programs and precision-targeted digital strategies
