OverviewCustom Consulting Lead at Microsoft (EMEA). The Custom Consulting Team in Industry Solutions Delivery leads adoption of the Microsoft platform and AI transformation, delivering value across customers’ digital and AI journeys through repeatable and customized solutions.Role focuses on leading and orchestrating customer value through complex deal making, driving AI transformation initiatives, and expanding Microsoft’s strategic partnerships. The role covers ownership of large strategic opportunities from inception to successful outcomes and leverages cutting-edge technologies to enhance cloud adoption.Flexible work arrangement: this role is available with up to 50% from home.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application process, read more about requesting accommodations.ResponsibilitiesLead and orchestrate customer value through complex deal making and tackle major business challenges to accelerate transformational projects.Partner with local leaders and their sales teams to establish strong partnerships and apply a regional approach to meet customer needs; maintain strong stakeholder engagement with SPT and Area MCAPSA Sales teams.Bring impactful technology and industry insights to customer engagements; close deals, coach and influence internal teams on how to drive a consultative sale and build trust with C-level executives.Influence Microsoft's strategic direction across markets; lead virtual cross-organizational teams on strategic projects and high-impact solution sales deployments that enable digital transformation and business value; leverage CSA assets and consulting IP to deliver customer transformation.Participate in sales planning and deal closure using Microsoft’s sales methodology; shape and sell custom consulting solutions with technical acumen to maximize Microsoft investments.Provide deal coaching and encourage cross-area learning within the solution area to benefit customers and wider Microsoft teams; collaborate with the wider account team to drive consumption and place AI at the forefront.Continuously build sales expertise and Transformative solutions knowledge to support customers and the wider Microsoft team, investing in personal development.QualificationsStrong experience in solution-based selling across one or more CSAs; ability to position cross-CSA offerings and align customer needs with our portfolio.Experience selling into commercial or public sector accounts with understanding of industry trends and challenges; ability to tailor solutions to industry-specific needs and contribute to account planning.Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and navigating C-level relationships; capable of driving executive meetings and articulating value propositions.Exposure to consulting or solution architecture practices; ability to collaborate with technical and consulting teams to develop and propose customer solutions.Experience driving the sales cycle for digital transformation initiatives; capable of driving value conversations and positioning solutions aligned with transformation goals.Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field with proven industry sales experience in commercial or public sector (e.g., Finance, Local Government); or Master’s Degree with strong technology sales background in similar sectors.Substantial experience in consulting solution sales and delivery is highly desirable.Employment detailsSeniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Software DevelopmentIndustries: Software DevelopmentEEO and accommodationsMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
