We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and collaborative Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Product Engineering team!
Your responsibilities
You will join a cross-functional team that builds and maintains the Plan A Product help improve Plan A's frontend architecture, improving interactions and user experience on the carbon accounting platform
* Create flexible, maintainable, and reusable features that help users along their carbon accounting and decarbonisation journey
* Collaborate with the other Frontend and Backend engineers in your team, as well as the Data, Platform and QA engineers from other Engineering teams on features and technical improvements
* Plan and implement features together with design, and product, to make pragmatic decisions and contribute to technology and architecture decisions
* Promote best practices and methodologies within the Frontend development team
* Foster a healthy and collaborative development environment through mentorship, transparent feedback and communication
Requirements
* Highly proficient in CSS3, HTML5, and TypeScript
* Strong experience with React and SASS / SCSS
* Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional feature implementation, including leading the planning, implementation and release phase
* Experience working in an agile Product development environment
* Strong focus on scalability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the product
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
* Excellent written and verbal English
What makes you stand out
* Experience with micro-frontend architecture such as single-spa
* Experience with libraries such as TanStack, RTK, or Recharts
* Proven experience leading projects or teams
