Our client is a leading company within the potash and Rock Salt industry, with 200 employees at five locations, thet are active worldwide both for the potash and rock salt producers themselves, for investors in new mineral salt projects or as independent experts for mining and environmental authorities or also for financial institutions and supervisory bodies of international financial trading houses as well as for national or international arbitration courts.

Technical Manager
Your responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for all technical matters of the company in the field of mine surveying
- Management of 15 employees
- Deployment and resource planning
- Guidance and control for all projects in the areas of:
o Official mine plans and maps
o Measurements/evaluations as part of monitoring measures, including reporting
o Surveying of mineral deposits, mine workings, tailings piles and open pit mines
o Surveying support for major projects
- Support for further projects in the areas of:
o 3D laser scanning
o BIM - Building Information Modeling
o Aero sensors
- Development and implementation of innovative ideas in all areas
- Acquisition of new projects, bid preparation and calculations
- Assisting with corporate processes
- Representation of the company at conferences, trade fairs and events
- Direct reporting line to management
Your profile
- You have a university degree in mine surveying or geoinformatics
- You have many years of professional experience in mine surveying or surveying
- You are well-versed in using AutoCAD
- Ideally, you have experience in using at least two of the following applications: Geographer, Card/1, GPS, Leica total station, laser scanner or digital level
- You have experience with surveying calculations, e.g. with CREMER
- You have strong leadership and communication skills as well as a motivating personality
