Job Description:
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling OptimoRoute's solutions exclusively in the German and Austrian markets. You will engage with prospective clients, understand their needs, demonstrate the value of our platform, and guide them through the sales process.
All sales activities, including calls, meetings, and demos, will be conducted online, with occasional business travel within Germany and Austria in the final stages of the sales process.
Please note, strong English is a must: the job interviews and job training will all be conducted in English. And everyday communication with colleagues will also be in English.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing deals.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
Conduct in-depth needs assessments to present tailored solutions to potential clients.
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to provide the best client experience.
Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and logistics technology advancements to effectively position OptimoRoute’s solutions.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Fluent German (C1 level or higher) – mandatory, as this role requires daily communication with German-speaking clients.
One to two years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to focus on customer needs.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with international teams.
Experience in B2B tech sales with German or Austrian clients.
Nice to Have:
Experience in logistics, transportation, or route optimization solutions.
Background in SaaS sales.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, Outreach or similar.
