Accountant - Part-Time, In-House Role, Flexibility
We are actively collaborating with an Investment Company based in the east of the city of Luxembourg, close to the airport. This company mainly invests in Real Estate and established an office in Luxembourg 10 years ago.
With a dynamic, multicultural, and human-sized team, the structure has known a certain growth and is, as a result, looking for an Accountant. The team is currently composed of a Supervisor, a few accountants, a tax expert, and administrative assistants.
Due to the youthfulness of the directors and the mentality of the company, the management is mainly based on results and trust : no micromanagement and no time-tracking policy.
Your Responsibilities | Investment Company – Finance – Accounting
* You take care of the bookkeeping for Propcos and Holdings Companies.
* You review VAT and tax returns and collaborate with a tax officer who mainly prepares these documents.
* You establish annual accounts autonomously.
* You work in team and you organize the work to avoid any delay.
* Finally, you are in contact with colleagues abroad in order to supervise and deal with investments abroad (mainly in Europe).
Profile and Career Path | Investment Firm – Accountancy – Financial Services
* You have more than 5 years of experience in accounting in Luxembourg. If you have 20 years of experience, that might also fit the expectations of our client.
* You are fluent in English. Any other language, but specifically German, is an advantage.
* You have worked with financial vehicles during your career (SOPARFIs, Holdings…) and ideally Real Estate investments.
* You are completely autonomous in the management of a portfolio.
* You appreciate working in team and having diversified responsibilities. As our client is a small firm, they are looking for a person who is flexible and also versatile.
Offer | Real Estate – In-House Accounting – Tax – Part-Time
* Your salary will be up to €85.000 gross per year (full-time basis) depending on your experience and seniority in accounting and finance.
* With 30 days of holidays per year (+ public holidays), meal vouchers, and a discretionary bonus, you will have the chance to receive a very attractive salary package.
* You have the opportunity to work part-time, from a 50% to 70% contract. This means that you will be able to benefit from an excellent work-life balance and to spend more time with friends, family, or to enjoy any hobbies / sports.
* In addition, this company offers flexible working hours, which means that results matter, not your presence at specific moment during the day at the office. You will also enjoy the possibility to work from home, 34 days per year or up to 2 days per week if you live in Luxembourg.
