Process Engineer (Injection Moulding)
Location: Aachen, Germany
Salary: €60,000 – €70,000 per annum (depending on experience)

A global leader in high-precision injection moulding is seeking a skilled and hands-on Process Engineer to join its growing team in Aachen. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation across healthcare, consumer packaging, and industrial sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and technically advanced environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the technical optimisation, validation, and troubleshooting of injection moulding processes. The ideal candidate is both mechanically hands-on and comfortable with technical documentation and process validation in a regulated setting.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, adjust, and optimise injection moulding machine parameters to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
Diagnose and resolve processing issues through root cause analysis and corrective action.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance) to enhance process performance.
Create and maintain key process documentation, including:
Setup sheets
Control plans
Work instructions
Lead and document process validation activities, including:
Installation Qualification (IQ)
Operational Qualification (OQ)
Performance Qualification (PQ)
Support the industrialisation and launch of new tooling and products.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean manufacturing principles.
Ensure adherence to internal quality systems and external regulatory standards.
Your Profile
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a process engineering role within an injection moulding environment.
Strong capability in modifying and optimising machine parameters to resolve production issues.
Solid understanding of IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and experience in regulated industries (e.g. medical, pharma, automotive).
Analytical, problem-solving mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Conversational German is essential; proficiency in English is an advantage.
