Job Description The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Area Sales Trainer for SIBG, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Designing and delivering engaging, multimodal (in-person, eLearning, virtual) training for SIBG sales professionals across all career stages. Providing ongoing coaching and support to SIBG sales professionals through virtual 1:1 engagements and ride-alongs. Developing and deploying SPEED (End User), Drive (Sales Managers), and ACE (3M Channel) training programs. Coordinating and leading external channel partner training sessions, both in-person and virtual. Serving as the SME and lead for sales process training content, sales tools, and technologies, while acting as a learning and development consultant within SIBG. Monitoring, measuring, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives, iterating based on insights. Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sales training. Establishing, owning, and collaborating on relationships with key stakeholders across areas, divisions, departments, and leadership levels. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree (Completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university. Successful experience in sales, key account management and sales management role, as well as training others. Fluent communication skills in German and in English. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Ability to influence, inspire, and motivate others toward positive action and goal attainment. Strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic big-picture perspective. Excellent communication skills. Proven experience in sales and sales training (or a related field), with a strong understanding of sales processes and techniques. Experience leading and managing sales teams. Self-starter with a growth mindset; proactive and adaptable, effective in fast-paced environments, and able to navigate change and ambiguity with appropriate urgency. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
