* Manage daily accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations
* Lead monthly and year-end closing processes
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with local GAAP (e.g. HGB) and IFRS
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and coordinate with external accountants and auditors
* Prepare and file VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory tax returns
* Ensure compliance with local tax laws in all jurisdictions where business transactions occur
* Coordinate with tax advisors and authorities regarding audits, registrations, and inquiries
* Support transfer pricing documentation and cross-border transactions
* Provide monthly and quarterly reporting packages to the headquarters
* Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with internal audits or SOX
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting in cooperation with the Finance team
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Several years of relevant experience in accounting and tax, preferably in a multinational or European environment
* Solid understanding of local tax regulations and accounting standards
* Prior experience in company setups or transition phases, e.g. newly established entities
* Experience in working with international headquarters
* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong MS Excel skills
* Excellent communication skills in English and German as well as Korean language skills
* Ability to manage external service providers like tax advisors and auditors
