We are looking for a Specialist Customer Service OE (f/m/d) to join our team in Ratingen, effective immediately!
In this role, you will be an essential partof our Customer Service Team and the central point of contact for the efficient order processing and logistics management of our top automotive customers.
What you can expect:
* The execution of checking and supplying incoming delivery schedules (especially via EDI) in SAP for our top automotive manufacturers is a core part of your duties.
* You will take over the coordination and optimization of loading dates and order quantities in close alignment with the Sales, Logistics, and Material Planning departments.
* Furthermore, the independent processing of returns, as well as the recording, tracking, and final clarification of customer complaints are part of your scope of duties.
* You will manage the support and monitoring of the supplier-relevant portals and platforms of our automotive customers.
* You are the main contact person for the disposition and ordering of load carriers, including the execution of evaluations and inventories in this area.
* You are responsible for the initiation, creation, and optimization of cross-departmental processes and the preparation of the corresponding process documentation.
* You will also actively participate in and help shape national and EMEA-wide projects and be able to take on partial responsibility.
* The monthly preparation, analysis, and reporting of relevant KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for submission to management will also be under your responsibility.
What you bring to the table:
* You have successfully completed a commercial vocational training (e.g., as a Forwarding Agent, Industrial Clerk, or Foreign Trade Clerk).
* An additional qualification (e.g., Specialist in Freight Transport and Logistics) is an advantage.
* At least 6-8 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of shipping, order processing, and logistics, ideally with profound expertise in the automotive sector.
* SAP is not new to you, and you bring very good and practically proven user skills, as well as routine handling of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
* Your working style is structured, proactive, and well-organized, with the ability to maintain an overview in a complex and dynamic environment.
* You bring a high degree of responsibility, reliability, and commitment. A precise way of working and a pronounced sense of personal responsibility are essential.
* You are characterized by a strong service orientation and customer focus as well as excellent teamwork skills.
* Our team primarily speaks and writes in German and English, so this is a prerequisite, written and spoken (>= C1 level).
