Your tasks
1. Simulations of activation energy barriers of adsorption/desorption of radionuclides on clay mineral surfaces using DFT
2. Kinetic Monte Carlo simulations with activation energy barriers as input to simulate large-scale interactions of nuclides with surfaces
3. Preparation and benchmarking of clay mineral surface finite models for DFT simulations
4. Speciation simulations of the radionuclides in various environments
Your profile
5. Completed university studies (Master/Diploma) in the field of Chemistry or Materials Science or Physics or related field
6. Kinetic Monte Carlo simulations, quantum simulations, theoretical chemistry
7. Excellent teamwork and communication skills in an interdisciplinary research environment
8. Excellent command of spoken and written English
