Explore the intersection of microbiome and cancer mechanisms in our research team.
Our project seeks to systematically characterize and validate virulence factors implicated in human diseases, focusing on cancer.
This endeavor expands our understanding of the human microbiome's functional role in health and disease.
The candidate will investigate the effects of identified virulence factors using various assays and uncover underlying mechanisms.
They will contribute to developing new methods and assays, participate in microbiome- and cancer-related projects, and collect, manage, and analyze data.
Responsibilities may be subject to changes or adaptations as required by the project.
We seek a highly motivated individual with a PhD in Biological Sciences or a related discipline.
Prior professional experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher is preferred.
Strong proficiency in cell culture techniques and molecular biology techniques such as real-time PCR, FACS analysis, and Western blotting is essential.
Experience working with purified proteins and performing related assays, conducting animal experiments, and imaging techniques are advantageous.
We offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment with access to high-quality equipment and opportunities for growth and development.
Located in a unique urban site with excellent infrastructure and a strong partnership with European institutions and innovative companies.
