Compliance Manager
Location: Munich
Our client is seeking a Compliance Manager to support the implementation and execution of compliance and governance frameworks while ensuring regulatory adherence and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support onboarding of new legal bodies into the compliance framework.
* Assist with compliance IT system implementation.
* Prepare compliance reports and documentation for stakeholders.
* Promote compliance awareness via training and communication.
* Execute compliance controls (e.g., KYC) and support risk projects with control testing.
* Coordinate legal change management with the legal team.
* Assist with governance documentation, audits, and data privacy tasks, including Privacy Impact Assessments.
Requirements:
* Degree in Business (MBA) and/or Law.
* 3+ years’ experience in compliance, legal, or related fields.
* Asset management experience is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
* Experience with control testing is beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills and cross-functional teamwork.
* Fluent in English; German is advantageous.
