Are you a medical physicist looking to transition from a hospital or clinical setting into the medical technology industry?
We are seeking a Clinical Application Physicist to provide expert clinical support and training to customers in hospitals and cancer centres in the EMEA region.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between medical technology and clinical practice, helping healthcare professionals optimize the use of our advanced solutions in patient care.
This position is full-time, based in the Germany. The ideal candidate will work largely remotely, which will require a dedicated home-office space and the ability to regularly travel (up to 60% travel) to hospitals and clinics in the EMEA region.
The Clinical Application Physicist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responding to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions
Resolving customer concerns raised during operation, maintenance, product application or compatibility matters
Providing high performance customer support during on-site installation, training, PMI’s as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting of systems
Serving as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects
Collaborating with clinical physicists to provide customized high-level technical training when required
The position requires a wide range of skills including mechanical, electrical, networking, software, and/or physics process areas.
Providing product feedback and work with global peers to align on best practice and processes
The key skills & qualities of the Clinical Application Physicist are:
BSc. or MSc. in Medical Physics, Dosimetry, or related discipline
Technical training/education/support experience in a professional or academic environment is an advantage
Strong presentation skills (ability to effectively talk to a group via phone/remote meetings/face-to-face)
Strong technical aptitude, experience of web-based applications, comfortable with learning technologies and industry standards
German and English are mandatory, while French and Dutch are advantageous.
