System Development & Validation: Oversee the design, development, and validation of propulsion systems, including: Hybrid Vehicle System Design Experience Experience in Vehicle Control/Supervisory Control Experience in Transmission control for Hybrids All Wheel Drive Control experience Manage and mentor system engineers to derive system-level requirements from technical specifications and ensure alignment with overall vehicle architecture. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware, software, and vehicle integration teams to ensure cohesive system performance and compliance with regulatory standards. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system requirements, validation results, and technical decisions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. Strong understanding of energy management, torque control, and drive mode strategies. Experience in managing engineering teams and system-level requirement derivation. Native German or EU citizenship. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with automotive standards and safety regulations (ISO 26262, ASPICE). Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
