What will you work on We’re looking for experienced full-stack engineers who want to build thoughtful, high-quality developer-focused SaaS products. As a senior or staff full-stack engineer at Veecle, you’ll work on Veecle Studio, a cloud-native platform that helps teams model, configure, deploy, and operate complex systems. In this role, you will: Design and build core product features across the full stack, from user-facing workflows to backend services and APIs. Shape Veecle Studio’s architecture, including multi-tenancy, permissions, integrations, and data models. Improve developer workflows through automation and intelligent tooling where it meaningfully adds value. Influence technical and product strategy while remaining a strong individual contributor. Identify complex challenges early, design pragmatic solutions, and lead implementation across teams. Continuously improve our SaaS engineering stack, including CI/CD, observability, testing, and reliability. This isn’t about maintaining legacy tools. It’s a chance to build a new, flexible developer platform from the ground up. If you care about product quality, developer experience, and enabling others to work effectively with complex systems, we’d love to meet you. About you You’re not just looking for another job; you want to build a platform developers rely on every day. You care about product quality, usability, and performance. You think in workflows, not just features, and you’re excited by SaaS products that help engineers design, deploy, and operate real systems. You take ownership end-to-end: from shaping product ideas and UX, to implementing robust backend services, to iterating based on real user feedback. You move fast, but thoughtfully, and you help raise the bar for both engineering and product decisions. We’re looking for someone with: 6 years of professional software engineering experien ce, with significant experience building and operating SaaS products Strong experience delivering modern web applications with a focus on usability and developer experience (e.g. React, TypeScript) Experience with working on, and with, AI-assisted workflows and tooling, using them where they meaningfully improve productivity, quality, or user experience rather than for novelty. Solid backend experience building product-grade APIs and services, including authentication, multi-tenancy, and integrations Experience designing and operating cloud-native systems (CI/CD, observability, scalability, reliability). Understanding of data modeling and persistence (SQL and/or NoSQL), especially in evolving products. A proven track record of owning product features end-to-end, from concept and design to production and iteration. Fluency in English (our internal working language) Bonus points if you have: Familiarity with Rust for backend or infrastructure components, particularly where performance, safety, or correctness matter A background in complex or safety-critical domains (automotive, embedded, industrial systems) Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities What we offer At Veecle, we are inclusive, international, and deeply collaborative. Our team spans multiple countries and cultures, bringing together a rich mix of perspectives, experiences, and ideas. We believe that diversity is a strength and we actively foster an environment where everyone feels respected, heard, and empowered to contribute. We keep our team small and focused, which means every person has a big impact. There’s shared commitment to building something meaningful together. Whether you’re working remotely or from the office, you’ll find a culture of trust, transparency, and thoughtful communication. We take pride in our engineering, but we also care about how we work: with kindness, curiosity, and responsibility. We believe great work comes from balance - so we respect focus time, support flexible schedules, and encourage sustainable work habits. Early-stage ownership: Join us at a stage where your work directly shapes both the product and the engineering direction. Strong technical team: Collaborate with experienced engineers who care deeply about writing reliable, maintainable, and well-architected software. Flexible work environment: Work remotely from within Germany or Spain, or join us at our Berlin office—your choice. Fair compensation & stock options: You’re not just building for us—you’re building with us. As part of our long-term commitment to shared success, we offer a Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP), so you can benefit from the company’s growth as a true partner. Focus time & async culture: We keep meetings to a minimum, prioritize clear written communication, and trust individuals to manage their time. Sustainable pace: We prioritize long-term thinking and building things that last—not constant urgency or burnout. 30 days of paid vacation If you’re excited about shaping the future of such industries and creating the ecosystem others will build upon, we’d love to work with you. About us At Veecle, we’re building a foundational software platform for next-generation real-time systems. Right now, we’re focused on leading industries such as automotive, aerospace, and robotics - but our journey goes far beyond that: beyond individual industries and beyond the current state of the art. Veecle empowers developers to take control of their software - designing, testing, and deploying intelligent behavior across systems using a unified SDK and runtime. Built in Rust for safety and performance, our platform enables the development of modular, real-time applications that can be continuously updated in the field. Our vision is to become the standard platform for software-defined systems - starting with automotive, and expanding to robotics, drones, and connected machines of all kinds.
