About The Job The Red Hat Ecosystem organization manages strategic engagement with our global and local partner environment and leads industry relationships between Red Hat and its ecosystem. The German team is looking for a Head of Ecosystem to help shape local strategy and ensure execution to achieve performance targets. What You Will Do Create and deliver a regional (German) go‑to‑market strategy, building on and enabling the EMEA Ecosystem programs. Deliver on ecosystem bookings, revenue goals and sell‑with targets in alignment with EMEA and the German go‑to‑market plan. Accurately forecast business and take the necessary actions to achieve results. Understand partner relationship implications and manage partner teams efficiently, creating synergies among partners. Contribute to Red Hat’s EMEA Ecosystems strategy and educate the company about German‑specific needs. Collaborate with German country leaders, segment sales leaders, and peers to manage an aligned plan. Grow the regional partner network across all segments, driving incremental revenue and partner autonomous selling. Educate Red Hat and partners on capabilities and best ways to work with the ecosystem. Foster collaboration between ecosystem partners and Red Hat; act as ambassador for ecosystem partners in Germany. Coach, develop, and enable a team of Partner Sales Managers and others in Germany. Lead a high‑confidence team that moves decisively to capture emerging opportunities. Attract, develop, and retain the best team, ensuring they integrate into Red Hat culture. Empower the partner community to sell and deliver Red Hat solutions effectively. Collaborate with peers on the leadership team, region, and EMEA Ecosystem organization to increase performance and excellence. What You Will Bring Excellent market experience in the region, including partner‑ecosystem market, competitor strategies, and sales cycles. Experience selling to partners, as well as selling with and through partners, and combining partner value propositions. Years of partner management experience in a global, matrixed software organization. Proven record of developing successful partner fulfilment and go‑to‑market strategy. Global partner experience and understanding of various channel partner types. Sales, methodology, and management experience. Deep understanding of how software solves business problems and the impact of cloud technologies. Experience transforming partners from single‑product focus to multi‑product and solutions‑selling approach. Ability to plan, prioritize, and resolve problems to produce measurable results. Insight into primary business drivers for ecosystem customers. Ability to promote strategy and influence change, while being a practical implementer. Capability to create innovative strategies aligned with Red Hat’s needs. Knowledge of channel development, management, strategy, and delivery. Excellent stakeholder engagement and management experience within a dual‑line reporting structure. Strong leadership skills, ambassadorial presence, and role‑model for Red Hat culture. Purpose‑driven leadership with impact. Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German.
