Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team as an on-site resource at a leading automotive manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support to the customer's engineering team for software testing activities related to HUD systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve software testing issues, including test case failures, data inconsistencies, and test environment setup problems.
Develop and execute comprehensive software test cases, analyze test results, and report findings to the customer.
Assist in the integration and validation of HUD software within the customer's vehicle platform, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Proactively identify and communicate potential software testing risks and propose solutions.
Qualifications:
~ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
~3+ years of experience in software testing for automotive components.
~ Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., black box testing, white box testing, integration testing).
~ At least one software programming language, including C/C++, CAPL, and Python.
~ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
~ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
~ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
~ Fluent in German.
