Responsibilities
You will support the Controlling Team in Germany and Penang and will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations:
* Data Management & Reporting: Consolidate and prepare financial data from multiple systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and improved data flows. Support business‑wide reporting and take ownership of selected areas of the monthly financial close.
* Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and analyze operating‑cost plans, forecasts, budgets, and profitability models for customer and R&D projects. Prepare solid business cases, challenge assumptions, and generate insights to support strategic decisions.
* Business Partnering: Act as a finance partner for teams across Germany and Penang, gradually assuming responsibility for local financial support and providing reliable guidance to stakeholders.
* Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements, data quality improvements, and more efficient reporting and analysis practices.
Qualifications
* 4–7+ years of professional experience in controlling or business finance roles
* Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
* Proven ability to manage complex datasets and improve data flows, reporting structures, and financial processes
* Strong financial modeling, planning, forecasting, and business‑case development skills
* Ability to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and provide actionable insights to business partners
* High proficiency in Excel, reporting systems, and possibly SQL or BI tools (e.g., MSTR)
* Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills in an international environment
* Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany for onboarding or team collaboration
