As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating administrative, financial, and reporting tasks for externally funded projects.
Your primary focus will be on supporting research administration activities, completing finance activities such as accounting, controlling, and reporting tasks, as well as purchasing orders, invoice follow-up, travel expenses, service contract follow-up, and external expert communication.
You will also be responsible for monitoring budgets, tracking, and forecasting expenses, liaising with our finance team, understanding funding body specific reporting requirements, and drafting financial reports.
To excel in this position, you should have:
* A higher vocational certificate or diploma in business administration or a related field
* At least 5 years of relevant experience
* Advanced skills in handling financial and administrative reports
* Experience working in a team environment at the interface with other administrative & financial teams
* Excellent communication skills
* Fluency in both English and French, with German language skills considered an advantage
