Your tasks
- Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).
- Ensuring the proper, complete and timely recording of all business transactions and reconciliation of the general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts.
- Contact person for auditors and tax advisors as well as for internal specialist departments.
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses for cash and liquidity planning, as well as preparing business analyses and reports.
- Close cooperation with the human resources department and accounting of employee provisions and pensions.
- Taking on the key user role for software updates and data migrations.
- Participation in intercompany reconciliations with subsidiaries and support in the consolidation process.
- Responsibility for processing payments and recording incoming payments.
- Main contact person for fixed asset accounting and leasing (IFRS 16)
Your profile
- Completed training in the aforementioned field; a completed business administration degree with a focus on accounting, finance or controlling, or completed further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification is desirable.
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in an international environment.
- Sound knowledge of accounting according to German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proficient use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
- Analytical thinking skills, a strong affinity for numbers, and a careful, structured way of working.
- Interest in the further development of digital financial processes and affinity for IT.
- Team spirit, a sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills when dealing with internal and external partners.
- Good written and spoken English skills complete your profile.
