The Marketing Core Tech team at ABOUT YOU sits at the intersection of data, technology, and business strategy. We build and manage internal data products that empower teams like Performance Marketing, CRM, and Analytics. From roadmap planning to launch and performance tracking, we drive the full product lifecycle — combining technical expertise with strong product thinking and business impact.
We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Junior Product Manager (m/w/d) Marketing Core Technology to become part of ABOUT YOU!
What you will do
1. Deeply understand your stakeholders’ needs (primarily from Marketing Data Analytics and Data Science, Performance Marketing, CRM, Content and Media)
2. Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to create smart solutions that take the business value into account
3. Take ownership of the success and quality of your products (mainly data products that support decision making or targeting for your stakeholders)
4. Simplify processes to enable others to work more efficiently (e.g., improving the sprint process and proposing new and interesting methodologies within the team)
5. Continuously improve the teams and the product by understanding stakeholder needs and proactively supporting with planning the product roadmap
6. Embrace accountability for the products you develop and understand their impact through stakeholder feedback and own analyses
7. Be ready to “dig deep” if required to solve the challenging aspects of your projects
Who you are
8. University degree in a quantitative or tech-related field
9. 1-2 years of professional experience in a project or product management function, ideally in a top-tier consulting firm or a fast-growing startup
10. Experience in product management: from developing a product roadmap based on overarching goals to defining and prioritising concrete features for the upcoming sprints in Jira
11. Experience in leading complex cross-functional projects (ideally involving both tech and business stakeholders)
12. Ideally, a good working knowledge of SQL and BigQuery, otherwise the willingness to learn to conduct own analyses using SQL on the data warehouse (Google BigQuery)
13. A good working knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, software development languages and tooling (specifically PHP and GCP)
14. Well organised with good prioritisation skills and a solution-oriented mindset
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
**Working model:
Due to the upcoming tasks and responsibilities for this position, it is required to work onsite at our headquarters in Hamburg on a weekly basis. Therefore we’ve implemented a hybrid working model that allows us to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and to work onsite from Tuesday to Thursday.
