To strengthen our Technical Support team, we are looking for a dedicated Service Engineer to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide end-to-end after-sales technical support: troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries regarding product use and application
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and hardware repair of electronic test and measurement instruments
• Handle the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process and ensure a timely, high-quality turnaround for customer repairs
• Assist customers with instrument setup, configuration, and practical application to ensure optimal performance
• Drive technical issues to closure proactively with a high level of customer satisfaction
• Manage and guide customers through software and firmware upgrade processes
• Act as a technical bridge to R&D and Quality teams by providing field failure analysis and actionable product feedback
• Support the broader team with technical expertise to ensure long-term customer success and product reliability
Your Profile
• Completed 4-year Technical Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the electronics industry, ideally with a focus on after-sales service, technical support, or hardware repair
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electronic devices/circuit boards is highly desirable
• Solid knowledge of Electrical and RF applications
• Confident user of test and measurement equipment (e.g., Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers)
• Team player with a proactive, service-oriented, and well-structured working style
• Very good written and spoken English (knowledge of German is highly advantageous)
