The Europe Eco Solutions R&D Lab is looking to hire a Product Planning Specialist to join its new organization, based in Eschborn. Position: Department: Location: [EU ES R&D Lab] Product Planning Specialist (m/f/d) LGEEB.AS R&D Lab Eschborn Your responsibilities
1. Market Research for Product Concept Planning Study HVAC Market Trend (e.g. energy efficiency, heat pumps, IoT-enabled controls) Benchmark competitors’ product portfolios Collect customer/ installer feedback on pain points and desired features Track regulations and standards (energy efficiency, refrigerants, sustainability requirements)
2. Product Strategy and Development Management Define long term product road map (e.g. new air conditioning line, smart thermostats, VRF system) Decide which market segments to target (residential, commercial and industrial) Align product plans with company strategy (e.g. sustainability, cost leadership, digital solutions)
3. Customer Magazine Review (CMR) Make No. 1 in the European customer magazine review CMR in Europe : Altro Consumo (Italy), Deco Proteste (Portugal), OCU (Spain)
4. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with R&D/ engineering, sales and marketing, compliances and service team. Support product launch and review the Go-To-Market and training Materials for sales and service teams
Your qualifications
5. Academic background in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, with focus on mechanical, air-conditioning, refrigeration and electrical/ electronics
6. Up to 5 years' experience in in a similar product planning role, preferably in the HVAC or heat pump industry
7. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
8. Excellent organizational and analytical skills
9. Fluent in English and German (knowledge of Korean is valued)
