This is a strategic leadership role requiring deep industry expertise, operational excellence, and strong ERP capabilities. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Supply Chain Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the supply chain including procurement, planning, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. ERP System Ownership: Lead the implementation, optimisation, and integration of SAP S/4HANA across supply chain functions. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor senior supply chain managers and cross-functional teams to drive performance and innovation. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies, suppliers, and commercial teams. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance. Continuous Improvement: Drive operational excellence through lean principles, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making. Candidate Profile: Experience: Minimum 10 years in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Expertise: Proven track record in managing end-to-end supply chain operations in a regulated environment. ERP Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA. Language: Fluent in German (written and spoken). Location Commitment: Willing and able to work on site 5 days a week in Dusseldorf Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation.
